FAQs

What is a Half Day vs. Full Day Charter?

1

  • Half Day (5 Hours)
Perfect for those looking for a shorter adventure on the water! Our half-day charter departs at 6:30 AM and returns at 11:30 AM, giving you plenty of time to target inshore species and enjoy the Cabo waters.

  • Full Day (8 Hours)
For the ultimate fishing experience, our full-day charter departs at 6:30 AM and returns at 2:30 PM. This trip allows for more time on the water, increasing your chances of landing trophy fish and exploring deeper fishing grounds.

When is the best time to fish in cabo?

2

The short answer is… year round. There is always something to catch in Cabo, which is what makes it such a special fishery.

The better question is what you want to catch and what kind of experience you’re looking for. Summer through early fall July through October is when the fishery really comes alive, especially for marlin and sailfish. This is peak season for big game fishing with warmer water and high activity offshore.

Late fall, especially November, brings incredible bait balls into the area, which can create some of the most exciting fishing conditions you’ll ever see. It is an amazing time to be on the water.

Winter months October through February are often considered “prime” by many, especially for striped marlin, but each season offers something different.

Weather wise, storm season typically falls between late July and the end of September, but ocean conditions can never be predicted perfectly.

At the end of the day, the best time to fish depends on your goals. That is why we help guide you not just on timing, but also on choosing the right boat and experience for the season to give you the best possible day on the water.

What do you mean by “all-inclusive”?

3

All-inclusive means we handle everything for your day on the water so you can just show up and enjoy the experience. The only thing not included is your fishing license.

For full day charters, this includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, bait, and ice. Half day charters include everything except lunch.

On our higher end charters, we take it a step further with a private chef onboard for a more elevated experience. We also offer upgrades like a sushi chef and other custom add-ons to tailor your day exactly how you want it.

What makes you different from other charter companies in Cabo?

4

We’re not a high volume booking service. We’re a hands-on, fully managed experience from start to finish.

When you book with us, you’re working directly with me. I personally coordinate every detail of your trip, from selecting the right boat and crew to preparing your day on the water based on your group, your goals, and the season. I meet you at the dock, make sure everything is dialed in, and stay involved throughout your entire experience.

We’ve built our fleet around trusted captains and crews who know these waters and consistently put in the work. It’s not just about getting you on a boat, it’s about putting you in the right situation to have a successful and enjoyable day.

We also focus heavily on customization. Whether that’s fishing, cruising, snorkeling, onboard dining, or celebrating something special, we tailor each trip to you instead of offering a one size fits all package.

At the end of the day, the difference is simple. You’re not just booking a charter, you’re booking a team that genuinely cares about your experience.

Can I take my fish back home?

Yes, you can take your catch home by plane. We do not offer shipping services.

Each fishing license allows you to bring up to 50 lbs of fish, which must be properly frozen and vacuum sealed for travel.

We work with a trusted local processing company that handles this for you. At the end of your trip, they can pick up your fish directly from the boat, process it, and prepare it for your flight home. While we don’t provide this service in house, we’ll connect you with them to make the process easy.
