Meet the Woman Behind Buena Vibra
Growing up in Orange Beach, Alabama, fishing was more than just a hobby—it was a way of life. With a dad who’s still a private boat captain, I was raised on the water, surrounded by the rhythms of fishing and the lifestyle that comes with it.
I first came to Cabo San Lucas over 10 years ago and immediately felt a connection to its world-class fishing scene. What started as a visit quickly turned into a vision for something bigger.
Three years ago, after the birth of my son, I made Cabo my home—and I’ve been building ever since.
Today, Buena Vibra Sportfishing is more than just a charter company. I work with over 30 boats across Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, partnering with some of the most experienced captains and crews in the industry—many of whom I’ve fished with since the very beginning.
Beyond booking charters, I’m hands-on in the business, personally managing vessels and working closely with crews to ensure every trip runs exactly how it should. This isn’t a booking platform—it’s a direct connection to the people and boats that make Cabo fishing what it is.

James is a key part of the foundation behind our operations. Originally from the United States, he grew up in Cabo and understands the ins and outs of how things truly work here. Fluent in Spanish and deeply connected locally, he manages our relationships with partners, crews, and mechanics, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
From coordinating logistics to handling communication and problem solving, James plays a critical role in keeping our operation moving forward. His ability to bridge both sides of the business is something we rely on every day, and we truly couldn’t do it without him.
